In work three things matter to me:
Open-ness - It gets you into trouble. It gets you out of trouble. It causes confrontation. It solves problems. It saves time. It breeds trust. It creates great work.
Execution - A good idea is only a good idea if it is produced in an engaging relevant and memorable way.
Entrepreneurial Spirit - It gets things done.
Over the years I have had the good fortune to work for and learn from some of the greats in our industry – Paul Arden, Steve Henry, Alex Taylor, David Droga and Graham Fink.
I love mistakes. Mistakes have an immediacy when made in the execution of an idea. They almost always lead to a more memorable solution.
But after more than 30 years, the biggest kick of all still comes when something you are working on gets people talking.
